My studio practice engages decorative surface design applications - especially wallpaper - through print and digital processes. I'm particularly interested in the American Pattern and Decoration Movement.

"One form of visual activity is understood to reach into the depths of representation, and the other remains on the surface. One is fascinated by content, the other by style, embellishment, decoration. This second scopic regime is the glance, and is often characterised as less elevated than the gaze; where the gaze is steady, penetrative and deliberate, the glance is superficial, unsteady, rapid, fleeting."  Peter de Bolla
