I'm exhibiting 'Razorwire 2' (see below) in Walls Are Talking: Wallpaper, Art and Culture, an exhibition of artists' wallpaper curated by Christine Woods at the Whitworth Gallery, Manchester, UK, 6 February to August 2010. See http://www.whitworth.manchester.ac.uk/whatson/exhibitions/wallsaretalking/ for further information.

Insider Art, my book about art in the UK criminal justice system, is to be published on September 1st, 2010 by A & C Black, see http://www.amazon.co.uk/Insider-Art-Matthew-Meadows/dpseptemb/1408102668. It will be launched later this year at The Garden Court Chambers, Lincoln's Inn Fields, London on September 15th, and will be promoted shortly afterwards at the Annual Koestler Prison Art Awards Exhibition at the Royal Festival Hall, London, opening on September 28th. An illustrated book reading and discussion will take place in the Blue Room, (together with Shaun Attwood, who will talk about his American prison book 'Hard Times') at the Royal Festival Hall on the evening of October 21st, chaired by writer and Guardian columnist Erwin James. This is a ticketed event.

In February this year I was awarded the Wallpaper History Society's Research Bursary in support of my next book: Artists Making Wallpaper. This will be published in 2011 by A & C Black, London.
