BIOGRAPHY

70s: Cycled to Pakistan, where I taught at the National College of Arts, Lahore. On return to the UK I lectured on South Asian Art.

80s: Working in mental health, running printmaking, photgraphy and video workshops. Continued to make and show work.

90s: College teaching and social arts projects. I became interested in pattern-making, using print and digital processes. I did a part-time Printmaking PG Diploma at Central St.Martin's College.  

2000s: Project managing school and community arts festivals at London Print Studio. College teaching and social arts projects continue. After becoming a judge for the Koestler Prison Arts award scheme I started doing art projects in prisons. I received an Arts Council Award to research and write about prison art in the UK.  The Wallpaper history Socity awarded me their first research bursary to write Artists Making Wallpaper.
